The end

Building this blog was a great experience because I had to look for unusual information about the marketing of Liverpool fc. I was interested by this club and now, I can say that I learnt a lot of things like the strategy for selling tee-shirts and other derivated products.
Learning to use blogs is also something useful, because I wasn't interested by learning how to build an internet site, and the blog is an easy way to communicate on the internet
I had to face a lot of difficulties. As you can see, I hadn't been able to post photos on my blog because of a problem with flickr. So my blog is not as "good looking" than he should but I have done my best to post interesting and original comments.
My feeling are warm about my blog. I love it because It took me a lot of time but I'm disappointed because I think I could have done better work and because I failed in putting a photo. I'm very sad about that and my life has no sense anymore because of that.
I think than building a blog should be a personal initiative. It was a good idea to show us a blog mais we shouldn't be evaluated on this because the subjects are such different

Some ways to improve marketing for next year

I think Liverpool should communicate on a young English player, in order to create a new wave.
They may, for exemple, buy the young player of Everton, who became two weeks ago, the youngest player who scored in premier league.
Afterwards, the communication of the club could be targeted on him. He would be on the match picture...
He would also be adopted by the supporters, because they would be happy to "robb" him from Everton, the other club of the city.
Maybe, Liverpool has also a young star in his academy, which would be able to catch the supporters, like Mac Manaman, Fowler, Owen and Gerrard before him

That is why they make their best for keedping Steven Gerrard in their team, because Gerrard and Owen were the two best sellers, because they were the two English stars, and they had to leave Owen go to Real Madrid.
So, the club managers target their communication on Steven Gerrard.
They were believing that Cissé was able to replace Owen in their sales figures, but he was injured after few weeks in the season.
So, we can expect a bad financial performance for Liverpool on last year.

The reason of this evolution

Money has taken a bigger importance in premierleague during the last ten years with clubs like Manchester United or Chelsea.
If Liverpool wants to reach the top, the club needs to dispose from great footballers.
And has to give them big salaries, so the club has to find money, and middle class people are more able to spend money for amusement.

So, at first

The target:
Liverpool FC is the most popular club in England.
The club represented the workers, during the economic crisis of the city, in the eighties.

The process of conquering higher life level consumers is less developed in Liverpool Fc, than in the others English football club, like Manchester United or Arsenal.

On the other part, the popular roots of the club are developed by the famous anthem "You'll never walk alone"

Anyway, in order to raise capitals and to buy better football players, Liverpool FC has tried to seduce new types of supporters, for merchandising.
